Kétfordulós, nyílt pályázatot írt ki a Budapest Airport (BA) a Budapest Airport Hotel fejlesztésére.

A ferihegyi repülőteret üzemeltető társaság nagy tapasztalattal rendelkező, professzionális vállalatok jelentkezésére számít.

Jost Lammers, a Budapest Airport vezérigazgatója elmondta: “A Budapest Airport Hotel a BUD Future fejlesztési program egyik sarokköve.

Örülök, hogy kiírtuk a nyílt tendert. Erős versenyre számítok, hiszen ez lesz az első igazi repülőtéri szálloda Magyarországon.

Nyugat-Európában már bevált modell a repülőtéri szállodák használata és idehaza is nagy az igény egy ilyen jellegű hotelre, ahol a nagyszerű konferencia létesítmények mellett számos parkolóhely is van.

Magyarország - elsősorban Budapest - igen népszerű konferencia helyszín, ebben a kategóriában az előkelő hatodik helyet foglaljuk el a világban. Így a Budapest Airport és területén megépülő a szálloda nagy lehetőségeket rejt magában.”

A győztes feladata lesz a Budapest Airport Hotel és a hozzákapcsolódó parkoló fejlesztése és üzemeltetése a következő 60 évre.

Április 24-én jár le az első forduló jelentkezési határideje, és a hónap végéig a BA értékeli a beérkezett ajánlatokat. Győztest várhatóan még nyár előtt hirdet a BA. A fejlesztés kivitelezési munkái 2009 végén már elkezdődhetnek.

A Budapest Airport Hotel Magyarország egyetlen repülőtéri szállodája lesz. A hét emeletes, négy csillagos hotelben 250 szoba és 167 parkolóhely lesz.

A Budapest Airport Hotelből kilépő vendégek egyenesen a 2B terminál épületében találják magukat. A közvetlen átjáráson túl a szálloda különlegessége, hogy rendkívül tágas szobákkal várja az utasokat. Az átlagos szobaméret 30 négyzetméter lesz.

Az épület legfelső emeletén kap helyet a „sky-bar”, ahonnan nagyszerű kilátás nyílik majd a repülőtérre, a futópályákon föl és leszálló gépekre, valamint a légikikötő fényeire. A vendégeknek olyan látványban lehet részük, mint sehol az országban: egy állandóan nyüzsgő repülőtér életébe nyerhetnek bepillantást.

Tender Invitation

Budapest Airport Zrt. (1185 Budapest, Budapest-Ferihegy , 1675 Budapest P.O. Box 53 hereinafter referred to as the “Tender Announcer”)
hereby announces a two-round open procurement procedure in the following subject matter: "Budapest Airport Hotel Project", that is to give the right to develop a hotel and car park on the site of Budapest Airport and to operate it for 60 (sixty) years thereafter.

Main eligibility criteria

Financial eligibility:

a) it is stated in the declaration of the account holding bank(s) that the applicant (in the event of joint application: the members) had no queueing over 30 days on any of their current accounts in the 12-month period preceding the tender announcement;

b) the official operating results of applicants (in the event of joint application: the members) were not negative in either of the last two closed financial years (2006 and 2007);

c) the net revenue of the applicant (in the event of joint application: the members) in the last two closed financial years (2006 and 2007) was not below EUR 300 000 combined;

d) the Bidder had no outstanding public debts over 30 days in the two preceding tax years;

Project eligibility concerning the subject of this procurement procedure:

a) List of references containing dates, places and subjects and value of investment of reference work performed throughout the last 3 years, as well as designating a person who can, as an employee or member working at each reference site, credibly express an opinion regarding the Bidder’s good performance;

b) Positive certificates from at least three reference sites for the product/service at issue, containing dates, places and subjects of reference work performance, as well as designating a person who can, as an employee working at each reference site, confirm those included in the certificates (original);

Possibility for consortiums to bid:

Bidders may submit their bids in a tender procedure either as independent Bidders or as members in a consortium. Furthermore, Bidders submitting their bids either as independent Bidders or as members in a consortium may not be subcontractors for other Bidders taking part in the same tender procedure, and may be members only in one consortium.

Detailed documentation
The basic condition of participation in the Tender is the purchasing of the detailed
documentation from the Tender Announcer.
The price of the detailed documentation is HUF 200 000 + 40 000 (20% VAT), that is HUF 240 000 in total. The authorized representative is obliged to prove his authorization. The certificate of transfer shall be presented before taking over the detailed documentation.

Tenders should be submitted in sealed envelopes, and the envelopes should bear the distinctly visible words as follows: "Budapest Airport Zrt. nyílt beszerzési eljárása Budapest Airport Hotel
Project témakörre vonatkozóan" (Open Procurement Procedure of Budapest Airport Zrt. on “Subject Matter”) and “Tilos kibontani! Kibontás nélkül továbbítandó a Beszerzési Osztályra!”

(“Do not unseal! To be forwarded to the Procurement Department unopened!”).
Tenders are to be submitted in 5 hard copies (1 original and 4 copies), in closed packaging and on 5 CD-s. The outer packaging of each copy should bear the word either “Original” or “Copies”. Should any contradiction arise between the original and the copies, the original shall govern. If the Bidder fails to designate the original, the Tender Announcer may arbitrary choose the one to be treated as the original further on. Each copy should display the Bidder’s name and address in legible letters. The Bidder should affix consecutive numbering. The tender should contain a paged Table of Contents.
Expiry of the bidding deadline for the first round
24th April 2009, 10:00 am.
The bids will be evaluated and the preferred bidders will be selected in the period of 24th to 30th of April 2009. The final tender documentation will be sent to preferred bidders on the 30th of April 2009.
The Tender Announcer reserves the right to modify conditions.
